The Job at a Glance The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of the most complex, cross-functional, cross-department and member impact projects across the organization. Their efforts will translate company strategies into action, deliver ROI, reduce risk, and achieve enterprise-wide strategic objectives. This responsibility includes defining, owning, and improving Process Management methods (standard work, requirements, and outcomes) to be adapted by processes and process owners throughout the organization to drive innovative process improvements and business results. They will ensure all tasks are completed while promoting a risk-aware culture and ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. They will manage and maintain vendor relations and SOW's based on written agreements and contracts. They will maintain strong communication with the PMO team and report to the Director of Program Management A Typical Day Work within a Project Management Office (PMO) function or unit, with a good understanding of PMO practices and policies, including Project Governance and Resource Management. Develops and communicates initiative roadmaps, schedules, and tools using Asana. Can lead updates and presentations to project team with reports and dashboards. Partner with executives, operational leaders, and process owners to translate vision into an executable plan while overseeing the project and acting as the project manager / lead. Provide project management expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocations, facilitation. Develop and manage business plans to achieve objectives, effectively anticipate cross functional gaps/dependencies and resolves them before program timelines are impacted. Project management, coordination and administration of large-scale projects comprised of sub projects and/or multiple works streams. Provide management and coordination efforts across different projects/divisions. Develop strategies and plans when introducing change to an organization. Work with System Integration vendors in managing, coordinating and delegating project assignments with project stakeholders including employees and third-party vendors. What We Look For Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with 8+ years of related experience or 10+ years of related experience and/or training. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong leadership skills Experience managing client expectations and requirements. Strong project management, organizational and reporting skills Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Ability to understand and interpret written policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information to all levels of management in different written and verbal formats Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities. Effective communication skills Strong Stakeholder and Communications Management experience and skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including team leadership and management, negotiation, collaboration, problem resolution and customer service. Strong skills in Microsoft 365 software toolset, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with Project Management Software like Asana or a similar program preferred. Experience with a variety of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Kanban and Scrum. Vendor Management experience required Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
