We understand we all have commitments outside of work and Dieterich Bank makes it a priority to provide a fun, family-friendly, work-life integration environment to our employees.A day in the life of a Controller:The Controller is responsible for ensuring the successful performance of the finance and accounting function of the Bank, including, but not limited to, the following financial processes: general ledger, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, investment securities accounting, budgeting, and accounts payable, as well as provide assistance to the Bank's CFO with respect to the treasury operations of the Bank. The Controller performs work requiring advanced knowledge, defined as work which is predominantly intellectual in character, and which includes work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment regarding accounts payable and the Bank's finances.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with a bank. 3+ years of managerial experience. Knowledge of bank/regulatory accounting Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality Proficient in the use of technology and ability to adapt quickly to new software. Ability to work well with others and in a team environment Maintain accuracy by remaining detail focused consistently and has the ability to organize efficiently Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Work schedule:This position requires 40 hours each week with majority of work being completed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Some evening and weekend work will occur on an as-needed basis.
