ASIC Hardware/Design Engineer

Description:
This position will join a blended team working at a customer facility, providing highly skilled design and analysis of large ASIC design effort in support of DoD customers. The candidate will design, simulate, synthesize and test IP using resources spread over multiple sites across the country. Design tasks will work with multiple fabrication facilities. The engineer in this role will get to work across multiple research efforts related to multiple technologies in multiple domains, in order to help the end customer's mission of developing protected technologies and the processes that support that development. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and maintain at least a Secret Clearance (Candidates with a Top-Secret clearance are preferred) Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited university and at least 2 years of experience performing similar technical tasks Ability to review standards and convey requirements Ability to analyze and assess processes to determine if requirements have been met Ability to interface with broad range of audiences and conduct technical meetings Strong communication and documentation skills Other Qualifications: Knowledgeable in ASIC fabrication, packaging, and testing processes Experience with implementing ASIC security requirements Knowledgeable in ASIC design Project management experience About CFD Research: Since its inception in 1987, CFD Research has been a technology leader in engineering simulations and innovative designs.
