El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) is seeking a Full-Time SUN Site Manager at East Gresham Elementary School! Under the general supervision of the Education Services Program Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) Community School program at their given location. SUN is a partnership between Multnomah County, the School District, and El Programa Hispano Católico. In collaboration with the school principal, staff, and family leadership team and community, the Site Manager will develop school-based programs addressing academics, enrichment, and recreation, and social service needs. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English and be bi-cultural. Experience working with children, youth, and/or families. Budget oversight experience preferred. Supervision of personnel experience preferred. Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Ability to work well both independently and in team setting; adapt well to dynamic work environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which include some evenings and weekends. Must be able to organize/prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and have a high attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Must have driver's license, access to vehicle and automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100). Satisfactory results from criminal background check required Requires both in-person and remote work. Essential Duties: Design and implement the SUN Community School Extended-Day and Summer programming at the assigned school, aligning services of community partners, school-led, and SUN activities into a one comprehensive model. Develop culturally diverse core services to address academic, enrichment, recreation, leadership, and social service needs. Build, strengthen, and maintain strong professional relationships with school administration, community partners, and the community. Facilitate recruitment, hiring, and provide direct supervision school-based staff. Collaborate with other staff in the coordination and operation of Food Pantry & Food Markets. Lead community outreach efforts at the school (i.e., Back to School Night, Family Nights, etc). Oversee school site budget for program expenditures. Organize and maintain records, documentation, and reports as required by agency, partners, and funders, including use of Salesforce and ServicePoint databases. Attend required program and organizational meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by program supervisor. COMPENSATION: Annual Salary of $45,000-$50,000. Depending on experience. By nature of our service to k-12 school districts, this position is subject to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) mandate requiring all employees to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or qualification for a medical or religious exemption.
