Cabinet Operations Manager/Foreman

Southern Pride Custom Cabinets (SPCC) is seeking a experienced Operations Manager/Foreman for its cabinetry production facility in Madison, AL Must have experience in the field and must have "Production" experience in a cabinet shop/facility. Scheduling services,labor, training, effective communication with Project Managers/ Designers, employees and peers MUST be a strength. General knowledge of Cabinetry equipment is also a must. Ability to improve efficiency, production, maintain quality/safety standards, operating budgets, maintain staffing. Basic computer skills such as Outlook and Excel are a plus but not a requirement. Responsibilities: Managing employees,coach-train new/existing employees and overall daily shop operations Scheduling production, manufacturing cabinets and installation schedules Understanding company product lines, equipment machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques Enforcing quality assurance standards and safety protocols Meeting with sales/design staff to review designs for accurate production and installation as required Maintaining shop oversight equipment, tools and company vehicles Producing daily cut lists Forecast production requirements, place orders and maintain inventory levels Tracking and receiving all purchased materials Monitoring material flow, procurement, scrap, operating budget, pricing/promotions Problem resolution skills with clients and employees. Required Skills and Qualifications: AS or advanced degree /certifications a plus. 3-4 years of verifiable hands-on field and/or shop experience in cabinetry, woodworking millwork or other construction trade required Working knowledge of shop equipment (including CNC router & machines) and processes. Edge bander, Beam saw knowledge a plus 1- 2 years plus supervising or managing cabinet shop, bench carpenters, millwork, construction/trim work or equivalent staff Skilled in building positive partnerships and working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
