PNW Warehousing has an opening for an Accounting Assistant in our rapidly growing company! We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team! Must be flexible, able to multi-task, and have the capacity to work calmly in a fast-paced environment. About Us: PNW Warehousing is one of the leading cross-docking facilities serving the state of Washington. Conveniently located between the Port of Seattle and the Port of Tacoma, we offer a full-service menu for all your warehouse, freight consolidation, transload, and cross-dock needs. With 150,000 sq ft of storage space, we have all the tools to streamline our client's logistics operations. We are looking to increase our client base in the Newest Top of Line Facility with lots of room to grow. Pay Scale: $23-27/hr Benefits: 100% covered Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (100% covered for employee premiums) 40 hours of Paid Vacation 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked 6 Paid Holidays Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday, evening and weekends as needed Position Summary: The Accounting Assistant is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and various other accounting and office duties. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of accounts payable/accounts receivable experience Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. Must be able to learn other accounting software systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
