Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a temporary, part-time (10 hours per week) position that is based at the Union County Public Health Clinic in Anna, Illinois. This position is to assist in breastfeeding data collection and community outreach. Qualifications: The applicant must have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Pay: $13.71 hourly Job Duties: Assists MCH Assistant Program Manager in collecting data on infant feeding practices, barriers to breastfeeding, and regional employer practices. Administers surveys and facilitates focus groups. Assists in facilitating meetings with community partners. Understands basic information on breastfeeding, the benefits of breastfeeding, and is able to clearly communicate the impact of breastfeeding on public health. Ma i n tai n s s e cu r it y , accu r a c y and c om p l e t e n ess o f writ t en r e c o r d s and ele c t r on ic data base Maintains meticulously accurate records of collected data. Utilizes professional etiquette and excellent communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with the public and our community partners via phone, in-person and virtual meetings, and social media. Provides clerical support to MCH management as available or required. Refers mothers according to clinic-established protocols. Follows all policies and procedures related to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Performs other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the agency.
