RESPONSIBILITIES Answering the phone for incoming broker and client Claims inquiries Answering inquiries by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing those solutions and escalating unresolved issues Translating the inquiry to the appropriate claims systems and knowing where to search for information and respond to the customer need Ability to follow up with responsible parties for any customer concerns or updates requested Provide an optimal customer experience during the phone call all while enhancing the organizational reputation Identify telephone system problems and immediately alert the proper personnel Ability to work a flexible schedule Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Three or more years of experience handling incoming business calls Computer skills including experience using multiple business applications, including telephone and data entry Insurance industry experience would be a bonus Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team- and service-oriented; builds strong working relationships Exhibits superior verbal communication, documentation skills and phone skills Sound judgment and problem-solving ability Attention to detail Ability to type 50 WPM Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor and attitude Proven ability to remain calm under pressure; resilient WATCH Where Service Matters : Job Posted by ApplicantPro
