Depending on Experience Responsibilities: Perform and review HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and system sizing per ACCA Standards based on builder blueprints Perform energy calculations as required for the state of Florida Ability to use preformatted forms to create material take off sheets based on project design Ability to use Wrightsoft-Wrightdraw, Energygauge, and other design software as designated Manage and control all data through Microsoft Excel Interface with Install, Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems Understand current state codes for residential design Must be accurate, possess keen attention to detail, and proactive in pointing out potential issues. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: 1 year minimum experience as an HVAC residential designer Wrightsoft Right Suite experience with residential design Energygauge experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and work well without supervision Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft programs for business: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
