Role Description We are seeking a DC based Photography and Videography Intern that is ready to take their expertise to the next level. We are looking for someone that can capture amazing photos and video to be used for our social media marketing. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, tech savvy and feels they are can help light a fire under our social media campaigns. You must be ready to push the envelope. The environment is fast-paced and changes daily due to the spontaneity of the units and events that unfold. Working closely with the Experience and Marketing teams you will contribute to the virtual brand and presence of Pirate Ventures. Do you have the creative lens to showcase our culture, events, and campaigns? Administrative Responsibilities Under the direction of the Social Media Manager, you will discover and capture content in form of photos and video Venture to onsite events across the DMV Stay on top of new and emerging platforms and suggest ways we can continue to stay on top of the latest trends digitally Work with the in-unit crews to coordinate any online components of cross-channel campaigns Participate in brainstorming sessions on sales and sponsorship collateral and partner benefit packages, and how social channels can be best utilized Job Requirements Commitment to and alignment with the company's core values Strong digital photography and video skills Good knowledge of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc. Photo editing skills preferred Be a relentless perfectionist with a positive attitude who has a high level of attention to mastering the minutia and competitive spirit Must be able to work weekends and nights! 10 hours a week on average Pay range is $17-$20/hr dependent on experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
