We are hiring- Host/Food Server Part-time!! 2-3 hour shifts or 8-hour shifts are available No late hours Under the direction of the Director, Food Service, this position is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving drinks and meals, clearing tables, cleaning, great customer service, and following special diets as needed and offered by the community. Take beverage and food orders, deliver food and beverage orders, clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables. Make every expected effort to maintain customer satisfaction. Resolve dining challenges with a customer before the conclusion of the meal service. Maintain a clean dining room. Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities and have a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Students must be available to work during school breaks. Requirements: This facility is subject to federal requirements through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services relating to COVID-19 vaccinations for staff, therefore a COVID vaccine is required unless an approved accommodation is in place. Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors! High School Diploma or GED Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by state regulation). Strong written and verbal communication skills, personnel skills, and community relations skills are essential. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
