A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Researches claims and coordinates information from other departments to respond to customer inquiries. Works collaboratively with other internal department personnel to resolve customer inquiries. Authorizes adjustments to billing in order to resolve customer service issues. Works with dental office personnel to clarify subscriber's coverage level, identify allowable procedures, and resolve billing issues. Maintains positive rapport with dental office staff members to ensure a positive image of Northeast Delta Dental. Composes and sends written correspondence via mail or email to subscribers and purchasers to answer questions, clarify benefits, or respond to inquiries. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE: Associates Degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred, plus at least two years of related experience, or equivalent training, experience, and/or education Bilingual skills a plus Experience in a dental office as a manager, dental hygienist, or dental assistant a plus but not necessary A happy attitude We want someone who will be warm and empathetic with customers and will diligently seek accurate answers to their questions Are you detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills?
