Lowell School in Washington, DC, is seeking certified swim instructors for our Aquatics program, serving students ages PK-8; this will be an immediate hire. Shifts require day, evening, and/or weekend availability: Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday from 3:30 - 6:45 PM Saturday from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Qualifications: Previous swim instruction experience is required Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred Current Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR-AED certifications are required Demonstrated experience working with children Excellent character, integrity, and adaptability Ability to communicate and work with a variety of ages and skill levels Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight Must be 18 years of age or older Lowell School requires all employees to be fully vaccinated unless they have a medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated includes boosters. Proof of COVID vaccinations will be needed during the onboarding process. Lowell School is an equal-opportunity employer.
