Maryland Gardens Post Acute is a 100-bed, AHCA 2019 Silver Quality Awarded skilled nursing facility (nursing home) and assisted living facility with a behavioral unit. Our specialties are to provide residents who exhibit behaviors in either a dementia or non-dementia setting. We offer these services and others, in a warm, friendly park-like environment with orange groves and large grass areas. Maryland Gardens is conveniently located on the southwest corner of Maryland and Central Avenues, one half mile south of Glendale Road, in prestigious North Central Phoenix. Working in our facility will build your skill set as an awesome med tech! Med Tech Responsibilities: •The Medication Technician is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents as ordered and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the company •In addition, the Medication Technician will provide direct personal care, encourage residents to participate in activities, and work with housekeepers and maintenance staff in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values •Prepare and distribute medication to residents •Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician •Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies •Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records •Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards •Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments Required Qualifications: Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training Benefits: Competitive pay Healthcare Benefits including Vision & Dental (Full-time only) 401k (Full-time only) Paid Time Off Rewards and Bonus Opportunities Continuous Training and Growth Opportunities Job Posted by ApplicantPro
