Title: Financial Analyst - Commercial Support Department: FP&A Immediate Supervisor: Director - Commercial Support Position Purpose: As a member of the finance team, the Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and developing reports to support effective decision-making. Principle Accountabilities Analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely P&L statements, identifying key drivers and trends that impact financial performance. Work closely with the business to provide financial insights that support commercial decision making. Provide ongoing financial analysis to support business operations, including variance analysis and forecasting. Develop and implement financial models to support business operations, including pricing strategies, investment decisions, and resource allocation. Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiencies in financial reporting. Related tasks as requested by the supervisor. Essential Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field 3-5 years Finance experience preferred. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop insights that support decision-making. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to work independently and learn and apply quickly. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as excel. Experience working in a commercial or business-facing finance function is highly desirable.
