SummaryConducts financial activities for the Finance Department by performing the following duties:Accounting ResponsibilitiesPrepares journal entries related to Sales, Inventory, Banking Activity, Payroll and other miscellaneous accrualsPrepares and maintains account reconciliations and analysis to financialsUpdates Period End Financial Reports and Managerial ReportsMaintains the Fixed Asset Ledger for acquisitions and disposalsSupports key financial statement analysis vs. Plan & Prior YearSupport annual bank, vendor and financial auditsAd hoc project management focused on driving efficiencies and cost savings in the businessCash Management ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review daily funding requirements and reconciliationsMaintains Daily Cash and Loan activity schedulesPrepare weekly Borrowing Base Certificate per Lender requirementsManage Vendor ACH/Wire program with AP and Procurement TeamsCollaborate with Controller on required Cash reconciliationsAnalyst ResponsibilitiesVendor Spend ReportingPlant OH Spend ReportingAd-hoc Financial AnalyticsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however may supervise individuals cross-functionally through project work.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Regular attendance is required.Education and/or Experience3+ years of Accounting/Finance experience preferred. Bachelors in Accounting/Business Administration Required or direct relatable experience. Advanced Excel Skills, including knowledge of Pivot Tables, Data Lookup Formulas, and Macros. Working knowledge of accounting principles.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with the Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and have knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning platforms (Aspen Canopy is a plus).Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsN/AOther Skills and AbilitiesMust have excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
