We are led by a highly accomplished management team and provide a full suite of management services to its affiliated practices. UHP is currently affiliated with 68 providers consisting of 49 physicians and 19 advanced practice providers operating out of 21 locations in the greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas. POSITION SUMMARY: The Area Administrator of Operations will have overall responsibility to direct, administer, and control the daily operations and activities of multiple practices in the assigned region. This person will build and maintain an operational infrastructure to support current business and projected growth as well as have a vision for sustained growth and profitability while offering the highest quality care to our patients. This will require working regularly with key internal and external stakeholders to build and nurture relationships, monitor performance, improve processes, solve problems, and capitalize on opportunities to strengthen the company. The Area Administrator of Operations will report up to the Chief Operating Officer. What you will be doing: Responsible for the general and financial operations of 4-6 outpatient practices with 40+ team members and 3,500+ encounters per month Responsible for profit and loss management of each assigned practice including optimal performance of finance and operations to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators Recommend, develop, and implement improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and emphasize cost containment while maintaining quality standards Address and resolve any medical/administrative problems and keep lines of communication open with providers and staff to ensure appropriate dissemination of operations strategies and objectives Oversee efforts for recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and develop providers and staff by ensuring appropriate training, onboarding, and education are adequately provided Provide informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the mid-year and annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent, ensure high employee morale, and maintain a professional and healthy work environment What you will bring to the Team: 3+ years directly related experience in management of a specialty or multi-specialty practice of similar size and structure, or other related healthcare entity Bachelor's degree in business or related field Master's degree in business or related field Experience in urology preferred What we can offer you Competitive Salary and Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Generous time off (start accruing on your first day - no waiting period) Paid Holidays 401(k) Company Discounts Collaborative work environment - we want our employees to have a say in how we run our office Employee Recognition - we encourage employee recognition through our GEMS program Please note that actual pay will be determined based on the relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.
