Summary The Regional Sales Director (RSD), West, will be responsible for the sale of Nextivity products into Nextivity reseller partners in the West region (WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, MT, WY) with emphasis on revenue achievement and channel partner development. In addition, this role will be responsible for identifying B2B sales verticals, the creation of a business case for each candidate category, the selection of partners and for closing and managing sales to these partners. Additionally, this role will carry a sales quota and be expected to expand sales opportunities throughout the region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with local operator enterprise sales teams in the region to support their sales efforts by vertical market to assure seamless coordination with sales discussions, product training, technical approvals, and any sales-related issues. Build strategic and synergistic sales relationships with the regional sales teams for Nextivity distributors like Anixter and GetWireless but will not be responsible for the sale and delivery of product to such distribution partners. Manage one Sales Engineer for the region and will help to develop a regional team approach and appropriate sales strategy to achieve regional sales quotas. Maintain a timely and accurate database of all regional partner contacts, sales opportunities, and unique successes in the Nextivity CRM (Salesforce). Acquire in depth knowledge of Nextivity's full range of products, services and product roadmap and convey that knowledge to our partners in the region, adhering to company messaging and positioning strategies. Carry individual sales quota and plan/execute to achieve Actively seek potential new channel partners and onboard when appropriate to resell Nextivity Products. Maintain regular monthly communications with regional channel partners regarding products, policy changes, EOL status or other important and useful information. Obtain knowledge regarding Nextivity channel programs and processes, including the Nextivity channel partner program, and other regularly used channel documents. Conduct a Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with top channel partners in region and present a QBR for the Western region to the VP Sales. Work with Nextivity Marketing to help plan, organize, and manage Nextivity channel partner events as well as participate in those events. Attend Nextivity sales meetings, trade shows and channel conferences. Travel to meet and manage potential and approved channel partners when required. Develop new emerging sales channels in region that align with Nextivity products and work with appropriate teams within Nextivity to position appropriate Cel-Fi products most effectively in these channels. Other Duties and Responsibilities Assist in business development opportunities serving new partners and opportunities in the region Assist as needed with new programs and initiatives to help scale U.S. Channel Sales beyond the Western region into other U.S. and global regions. Other duties as defined and mutually agreed upon with the VP of Sales and other Nextivity team members. Skills and Abilities Must have experience as a successful individual contributor. Must be self-motivated, taking ownership of responsibilities, self-starting, self-managing. Must be proactive, taking initiative and working in a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and have a positive attitude with eagerness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; other language skills are a plus. Ability to use sound judgment when representing the Company, operate as part of a team and collaborate with others while taking sales or program initiative. Proficient computer and technical skills including CRM programs and other online systems Understanding the 360 sales process and cycles is required Work Experience 10 years of sales experience is preferred Experience and past success in a quota-driven sales environment with a record of overachievement required Proven in-depth understanding and excellent track record of successfully selling and managing a technology-based channel business is required Successful field sales experience utilizing channel reseller partners is required Experience selling technology products and solutions to the enterprise is required Experience with sales pipeline (funnel) management is required Experience selling cellular wireless products/solutions preferred Experience selling cellular wireless in-building coverage or DAS (Distributed Antenna System) products/solutions is preferred Experience using video and audio conferences to conduct business effectively when needed is required Education / Training Four-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
