Triton Systems, Inc. (tritonsystems.com) is seeking a Research Engineer with an interest in innovative research and development and a desire to create exciting new technologies. Triton's diverse set of projects will give you experience across the engineering spectrum and allow you to shine in a fast-paced environment.Currently we have an immediate need for a Research Engineer to help with development of a surface treatment for rigid substrates. You will be responsible for technical execution of the project, including detailed planning and coordination with other team members, performing experiments, data analysis and reporting.Desired qualifications: - PhD in chemical engineering (or related field) preferred) - Thin coating experience - Materials knowledge (especially polymers and adhesives) - Testing and Characterization - Able to handle multiple tasks - Some experience with designing, building, and/or testing of bench prototypes - Good communications skills (formal reports, verbal and email communication with customers, partners, vendors); good record keeping - Comfortable working in fast paced environment with a startup culture - Good team player that can also work independentlyNo relocation package offered No Recruiters No phone calls.Because of the nature of our business, interested candidates must be United States citizens.To apply for this position please complete the application process by following the link on our Careers page at: http://www.tritonsystems.com This will ensure an efficient processing of your application.
