Our company also delivers systems engineering and engineering management services to federal clients that focus on the design, development, integration, and management of complex systems. Job Description: The Resource Manager directly supports a Department of the Air Force activity, providing federal clients financial management and control, schedule coordination, financial data administration and functional assistance, support, and coordination to support operations. The activity's Resource Manager interfaces with various stakeholder staffs and executives to develop plans, including budgets and schedules; to meet contractual and project requirements of the program; and to ensure compliance with internal customer procedures, such as government procurement regulations. Responsibilities: The Resource Manager will work on-site at multiple client locations in the National Capital Region to interface with clients and assist them with resource management, ensuring funds are available for the Department of the Air Force activity's operations, equipment, supplies, and services. Duties: Assist clients in developing and implementing processes that provide budget execution visibility and transparency throughout the fiscal year to ensure the O&E rates are monitored, managed, and appropriately obligated Interface with and support clients to ensure PPBE efforts (e.g., Program Objective Memorandum builds, Program Element Manager engagements, Program Management Reviews, unfunded requirements lists, etc.) fully align with activity program requirements and are fully vetted, staffed, and approved Research, coordinate, review and/or prepare resourcing documentation for review and approval by government leads to acquire equipment and services required by the activity On behalf of government leads, monitor and report increases and decrements in the program budget that impact the activity Provide subject matter expertise support to government project leads for course of action development activities that require materiel support and resourcing Other Duties: Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time based on project requirements. These changes will be communicated by your supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess at least a current and active Secret clearance and ability to achieve TS/SCI. Preference for those already possessing TS/SCI. Experience Required: Required amount of experience: 3 years minimum supporting senior level position and/or combatant command, major command, or senior service level headquarters staff finance, accounting, and/or budgeting experience. Preferred amount of experience: 5 years minimum supporting senior level position and/or combatant command, major command, or senior Department of the Air Force headquarters staff finance, accounting, and/or budgeting experience. Preference for those with experience in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) and Intelligence PPBE processes and Fiscal Law. Experience with the Air Force Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (AF DEAMS) highly preferred.
