The Kelly Group is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager for its Reserve, Louisiana , location. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of estimating/project management experience, preferably in the construction industry.Entry-level candidates with an engineering/construction management degree are also invited to apply.This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties: Estimate civil, structural and mechanical projects, as well as piping and sheet metal fabrications Supervise and direct foremen and workforce Maintain and develop relationships with both new and existing customers Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to understand the constructability of projects Contract and subcontract review and negotiation Conduct pre-job meetings with foremen to review scope of work, manpower requirements, work sequence, special requirements and safety Monitor ongoing jobs for costs, profitability and schedule adherence Maintain safety awareness and reinforce safe behaviors with foremen and workforce Possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to company insurer Possess a TWIC card, or ability to obtain one Other preferred qualifications sought include: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (civil, mechanical or structural) Supervisory experience in the construction industry Concrete, industrial sheet metal, carpentry, structural steel, pipefitting and insulation experience Hands-on knowledge of estimating software, scheduling software, cost distribution and common contracting procedures The Kelly Group offers a complete benefits package, including a 401(k) plan and health, life and dental insurance.
