Enterprise Middleware/Integration Consulting Team Leader Description As a top-performing Enterprise Middleware/Integration Consulting Team Leader at KS2 Technologies, INC., you'll have the opportunity to architect and deliver multiple customized solutions for our KS2 clients. We are in search of an experienced Enterprise Middleware/Integration Consulting Team Leader that will be responsible for the development, leadership, and growth of assigned KS2 consultants within our middleware practice. The Team Leader is also responsible for the identification, development and management of practice area tools, methods, accelerators, and knowledge (also known as practice intellectual property). This client billable position is hands on and, with appropriate experience and training, may serve as a Client Engagement Leader. Work from home - remote We're proudly offering remote work options for candidates. What You'll Do: Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable Update and improve KS2 career path documentation continuously. Ensure that all assigned employees have clear job descriptions, annual individual development plans (including required industry certifications), quarterly alignment conversations, quarterly projects (Rocks) assigned and tracked and understand expectations for personal metrics including SLAs and billable hours. Ensure that all plans are executed effectively. Gather feedback on assigned employees from Clients, the PMO and Leadership ensure that it is synthesized into development plans and quarterly conversations. Maintain a skills inventory for all assigned employees using the standard KS2 skills tracking system including the competence level of each skill for each employee. Ensure that employees are onboarded effectively, communicated with frequently, supported as needed for all work assignments. Review and manage assigned employees' future bookings and weekly results including SLAs and billable hours and take actions needed to achieve assigned targets for team. Working with the PMO and Services Delivery Leadership, plan for the resources needed in the assigned practice area to meet existing SOW backlog as well as the projects sales forecast and execute the plan (monitor and adjust employee SOW assignments cross-train, add skills, open new positions, and assist in recruitment as needed) Assigned Practice Area Development Strive to create a best in class and industry recognized practice for the assigned practice area. Create and continuously update the assigned Practice Area Charter which defines the practice area, identifies marketplace needs (working with delivery leadership and the sales and marketing team) and identifies practice area assets and tools. Ensure that Practice Area required skills are documented in career paths. Development of personal skills needed to be a direct contributor within the assigned practice area. Client Engagement Perform billable work for clients for assigned statements of work including managed services and discrete projects. Understand the role of Engagement Leader and perform these duties for assigned clients Understand and execute KS2's B.E.S.T. governance process as needed What You'll Bring: Required: At least 5 years of relevant practice area experience in addition to experience used as a substitute for a four-year college degree Required: At least 3 years of leadership and direct supervisory experience Required: Up to 30% travel Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company Experience with and an understanding of interface architectural principles and best practices to include resilience, recovery and persistence schemes. Experience with and an understanding of common business processes and transaction processing Experience with and advanced knowledge of DevOps / SDLC methods Experience with and advanced knowledge of testing and validation methods At least 5 years of direct experience developing and designing application-level interfaces using a variety of architectures and methods that should include at least two of the following: EDI - ANSI and related translators and service providers REST Interfaces SOAP Interfaces Message Oriented Middleware (IBM MQ) Middleware Tools (Boomi, IBM App Connect Pro, Oracle Integration Cloud) Data Transformation Tools Data Conversion Tools At least 5 years of direct experience developing and designing middleware solutions using specific middleware tools to include at least two of the following: IBM App Connect (and Pro) Oracle Interface Cloud IBM MQ EDI Education A four-year college degree or 5 years of direct experience and certifications.
