A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ARTISAN PIZZA & FLATBREAD CHEF As our Artisan Pizza & Flatbread Chef, you fill our need for a certain skill set as you create our delicious pizza and flatbreads! You ensure that we are meeting the goal of providing our members with consistent, well-prepared, and divine cuisine. You're busy every shift preparing doughs, hand tossing, forming, and baking pizzas and flatbreads in our open-flame pizza oven! You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and disciplined individual who does their best in every task and happily helps other team members. We want you to be able to focus on your creativity too! Leveraging your creativity and innovation, you create new, delectable items for our pizza and flatbread menu. We also encourage our culinary team members to post pictures to social media of plated entrees, large banquets, ice displays, or anything else that you're proud of producing with our team (#bbculinary). You enjoy using your cooking skills to help create the best experience for our members! JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in a pizza-focused restaurant setting Ability to work under pressure and be consistent Proficient in basic mathematical calculations Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to meet physical requirements and work in conditions typical of this position Certification of culinary training or secondary-level education is preferred, but not required .
