TEAM Employment Specialists will help students by providing: Job Exploration Counseling: Job shadows, mock interviews, interest inventories, resume writing, etc. Work-Based Learning Experiences: Internships, job shadows, etc. Counseling on Opportunities: College visits, assistance on college applications, exploring colleges on the internet, etc. Workplace Readiness Training: Financial literacy, transportation, housing, social skills Self-Advocacy Instruction: Advocating for accommodations or assistive technology, etc. This is typically a full time position, Monday-Friday, with some weekend hours as needed A reliable vehicle is necessary as applicants would be driving during the course of their job duties and must be insurable under our company policy. Mileage reimbursement is offered. This specific position will partner with Des Moines Public School District as a float between available schools. Pay begins at $18.75/hour, increasing to $19.00/hour after a 90 day orientation period. Full benefits are offered, including: Medical, dental, vision, employer paid life insurance/accidental death and dismemberment/long term disability insurance, and a 403(b) Tax Deferred Retirement Plan offered to all full-time employees 20 days of PTO in the first year, increasing to 25 days of PTO in the second year, that we not only let you take, but expect you to take off!
