Job Title: Project Manager/C5I Systems Documentation Lead Job Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Developer to join our team! As the driving force behind a small team, you'll collaborate with government personnel to create technical documents that will directly impact the success and safety of Coast Guard operations. Responsibilities Include: Leading a small team in updating and creating technical documents for the Coast Guard's C5I Systems Collaborating with government personnel and managing performance under the contract Selecting and interpreting data based on knowledge of the design intent Producing and modifying standard USCG technical documents Ensuring technical documents such as RCM Analysis, MRLs, MPCs, and ACMS/FLS integration meet the highest standards of quality and innovation Join our team if you have: Bachelor's degree Experience developing, formatting, proofreading, and producing maintenance Deliverables (RCM, MRLs, & MPCs) in accordance with USCG standards Proficiency in all aspects of ACMS/FLS requirements At least 4 years of experience in technical writing At least 10 years of relevant experience At least 2 years of experience in ACMS At least 2 years of experience in the submission of USCG technical documents to CG Logistics Information Management System (CG-LIMS), Surface Technical Information Portal (STIP) At least 2 years of experience performing Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) inspections and producing QA/QC documents At least 5 years of leadership experience managing Maintenance Analysts/Developers A thorough working understanding of C5ISC supported systems, C5I Configuration Management, and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) Ability to lead a small team and collaborate with government personnel Desired: PMP Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field Work Setting and Environment: Monday - Friday, normal working hours Work is to be performed remotely, with periodic visits to the C5ISC facility in Portsmouth, VA How FedWriters Will Compensate and Appreciate You: FedWriters offers team members the opportunity to gain a lasting impression in this fast-growing small business.
