Overview: JHNA is seeking a Flight Controls System Engineer. We have immediate openings for Flight Control System Engineers to provide technical and programmatic support and oversight on the following aircraft systems, F-35, E-2, and F-18. The selected candidates will support the development and certification of safety critical, software intensive systems. Roles/Responsibilities: Provide technical and programmatic support and oversight of the following aircraft systems, F-35, E-2, and F-18. Support the development and certification of safety critical, software intensive systems. Specific areas of emphasis include system architecture definition, redundancy management, built-in-test (BIT) design, hardware and software design, development and qualification, control law design and analysis, system integration and test, autonomous vehicle control, and executing the role of flight control system software support activity. Certify that the integrated VCS meets airworthiness and performance requirements. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. Must have an active Secret clearance. Design, development, integration, analysis, and/or test of complex software-intensive systems System integration testing (including simulation, hardware-in-the- loop, and on-vehicle) Control law design and analysis Model based design using Matlab or MartixX (block diagram to code) Redundancy management of safety-critical systems Standards and practices associated with design, development, and certification of flight control systems
