Suffolk Credit Union offers a dynamic summer internship program that prepares students with the proper stepping-stones to a fulfilling and successful career! This internship is a PT opportunity and will run for 10 weeks from June 5th through August 11th. As the People Operations Intern you will be providing administrative support to the Human Resources/People Operations department while being exposed to all aspects of People Operations functions including the Employee Experience, the Employee Lifecycle, Recruitment, Payroll, Benefits, Leaves of Absence, and Learning & Development. Responsibilities : Provides administrative support to the department Learns various People Operations operating systems Assists in the administration of benefits and leaves Gains an understanding of key People Operations metrics Assists the Manager of Employee Experience with employee events and activities Maintains confidentiality at all times All other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources . Excellent written & oral communication skills Motivated self-starter Ability to grasp new concepts Proficient computer and technical skills (Particularly with Microsoft Office Suite) Ability to work within a team environment Microsoft Office proficiency and experience required.
