The Product Analyst is responsible for evaluating the Credit Union's products and comparing them to industry trends while make recommendations based on their findings. The Product Analyst will also support various teams in their decision making using quantitative data and informing them of their next steps to maximize profit and the member experience. Responsibilities : Analyze metrics to continually improve company data Assist the company in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth Work with other company departments to improve the analysis and presentation of products Develop an understanding of company products to meet the company's current and future needs Develops, maintains, and manages requirements for strategic initiatives for all current and future products Work with other product teams to define, prioritize, deliver and align solutions to product vision and roadmap Engage partners selected for inter-product integration to drive the design of simple, secure and scalable data exchanges Participates in focus groups, customer insight studies and industry events as appropriate Participate in consumer interviews and feedback collection Make actionable recommendations about product strategy and prioritization based on a deep understanding of member engagement and behavior. Monitor product operational metrics to identify issues and opportunities for improvement Produce information for release notes that explain delivered requirements into understandable explanations of impact and value Diagnose and optimize data quality issues to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability across systems & internal processes. Achieves a minimum of "Satisfactory" rating on internal audits and examinations Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members. All other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma. A bachelors degree in a business related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in a quantitative role (analytics, consulting, data science, or an equivalent analytical role). Proficiency in SQL and BI tools such as Looker or others preferred. Proficient in database software Strong data analytical skills Strong Project Management skills Advanced knowledge of credit union loan policies as well the following regulations: Truth in Lending, HMDA, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Uniform Commercial Code, HUD, RESPA, Fair Housing Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as lending related laws and other NCUA regulations Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, regulations, procedures Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word Demonstrated market research skills Demonstrated presentation skills Demonstrated computer and software skills Strong communication skills Demonstrated credit analysis skills Demonstrated skill in reporting and summarizing complex financial and statistical data Skill with independent problem-solving, negotiation and follow-up skills. Intermediate mathematical skills Ability to express oneself clearly and articulately both orally and in writing Ability to handle multiple and complex deadlines Ability to exercise tact and responsibility with handling confidential information Ability to work with little supervision of daily activities Proficient in new membership application process, loan process and all affiliated regulations including but not limited to BSA, Reg E, Reg P, Reg D and Reg CC). Ability to lead by example and exemplify organizational core values Ability to establish and maintain work relationships both internally and externally.
