Microcontroller Technician

Description:
Position Summary: As a Microcontroller Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing microcontroller-based electronic systems and devices. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing microcontroller-based applications. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of microcontroller-based electronic systems and devices. Program, test, and debug microcontroller firmware using various programming languages and tools. Design, develop, and implement microcontroller-based applications. Read and interpret schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Perform component-level repair and replacement using soldering and desoldering techniques. Document test results, repair procedures, and process improvements. Provide technical support to other team members and departments as needed. Continuously update knowledge of microcontroller technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in microcontroller troubleshooting, testing, and repair. Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures, programming languages (e.g., C, C++), and development tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Solid understanding of electronic components, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and embedded systems. Experience with automated test equipment and software (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
