Description:
Wulco Inc. is currently seeking machine operators within their Jet Machine and Manufacturing division. Jet Machine specializes in close tolerance machining in the military defense and oil and gas industries. Our two, temperature controlled, CNC machine shops are comprised of Mazaks. A qualified candidate is mechanically inclined, literate in basic alegebra and geometry, reliable, and willing to learn. Ideally, the candidate will have previous machine shop experience, but is not required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Machine Operator is responsible for general CNC machining of metal parts. Responsibilities and job duties include: Operating various milling and turning machinery and equipment, as assigned, to manufacture parts to required specifications Inspecting and documenting completed work to ensure quality and consistency to the required specifications Ensuring finished parts move to the next operation upon completion Informing Machining Lead of any problems or improvements of the manufacturing process General workmanship including deburring and cleaning finished parts Maintain good housekeeping practices including cleaning work area and inspection equipment Other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: High School education or equivalent Basic algebra and geometry skills Basic blue print reading Basic understanding of machine program and ability to make tool offsets Use of SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety Must be able to stand at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds BENEFITS: Weekly payroll Optional OT 10% shift differential Full healthcare benefits on day 1, including a free medical insurance option Dental Vision STD Company paid LTD Company paid basic life insurance policy PTO accrual program Paid holidays Employee referral program Retirement benefits w/ a company match Temperature controlled environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
