Opioid Treatment Program - Administrative Assistant - Full Time Join a supportive team who values teamwork and professional growth! As our full-time Administrative Assistant, you will collaborate with the Intake and Administration teams. This position works in SouthLight's Opioid Treatment Program and serves as the primary point of contact for new and existing SouthLight clients. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling, collecting appropriate co-pays and service fees associated with the visit and reconciling money daily. Experience working with the Mental Health and Substance Use population is highly preferred and will help you succeed in this role! Schedule Hours for this position are Tuesday - Friday, 6a-4p. Pay Starting pay for this role is $16.00 to 18.00 per hour, based on experience! Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays. Job Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant Answer incoming calls, provide information regarding treatment services and general inquires and transfer calls to the appropriate source Collect outstanding balances, coinsurances, deductibles, copays and self-pay balances Perform skilled keyboarding and accurate data entry in a fully integrated electronic medical record system Provide general administrative support for the program including filing, typing, copying, data entry and faxing in a prompt, efficient and cooperative manner Qualifications of an Administrative Assistant Education and Experience Minimum of HS diploma or GED Minimum one year of experience in front office, customer service or related field (behavioral health experience a plus) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Professional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Highly organized and detail-oriented Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to be flexible and embrace change in a fast-paced environment Commitment to strong customer service focus rooted in empathy Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle and manage high volume of calls Organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, develop and carry-out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner and to provide accurate and succinct documentation of activities Ability to use an electronic medical record system Comfortable with MS Office Suite and windows-based applications About SouthLight Healthcare Tap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
