The Drop/Soft Count Team Member performs a timely retrieval, transport, and replacement of cash boxes from the slot machines, ATRs, and table games in accordance with department policy and procedures within a team! Counts currency and tickets in compliance with internal controls and department policies and procedures. How You'll Make an Impact: With relationship to job duties and job responsibilities; ensures compliance with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and The Point Casino Polices and Procures. Removes cash boxes from slot machines and replaces them with empty boxes. Transports drop boxes to count room. Complies with count room security and surveillance protocols. Counts currency, and tickets (clipping, strapping, and bundling) from gaming machines, table games, and ticket redemption kiosks; recording the count accurately and timely on required paperwork. Mutilated and counterfeit currency is separately recorded and counterfeit are reported to TGA, the Cage, and Finance. Verifies funds balance to totals and gives funds over to a Cage Main Banker upon completion of cage verify process. Provide positive interactions with guests and team members and maintains a safe and friendly environment. Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings. What We're Looking For: 18+ years old with a High School Diploma/GED or currently enrolled. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events. Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds. Good to Have, But Not Required: Previous experience counting money in a time sensitive environment. Previous experience working as a lead in the Gaming Industry. Class III Gaming License via the Washington State Gambling Commission. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
