JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for performing production needs for commercial customers under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor. Job tasks will meet production needs and contract deadlines while working in the assembly line production process as outlined in the SOW. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE: Perform production duties as directed by the supervisor Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output and quality goals Maintain a clean working area Work the hours as defined by the supervisor Prepare the equipment and material for next day's use Use pallet jack to s afely for its intended purposes Perform equipment safety checks prior to use Use personal protective equipment when performing job duties Maintain all safety standards as set forth in the agency safety manual and required by the supervisor Report Directly to the Warehouse Supervisor Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required No experience needed REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to pass a local and Level 2 background check Prefer sewing machinery/equipment experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds. Ability to stand, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders. Ability to maintain continuous walking, standing, bending, or stooping for extended periods of time. Ability to work in an environment with dust.
