The Position : We are looking for an Accountant II to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information and reports used within the organization, as well as assist in business preparation. Responsibilities: Performs analysis, makes journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, and balances and compiles data. Reports financial results, performance and spending to standards, reviews general ledger activity for accuracy. Monthly close responsibilities and accounting duties as assigned. Assist in business plan preparation. Miscellaneous projects as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required and 3-5 years accounting experience. JD Edwards and manufacturing systems knowledge preferred. Ability to use personal computers and Microsoft software. Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills. Self-starter with positive attitude. Must be able to prioritize and be extremely detail oriented. Must demonstrate ability to learn quickly and work independently. PAY RANGE: $59,397 - $74,246 The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
