Acenda provides over 100 life-enhancing programs and services to individuals, families, and communities throughout New Jersey. We join together to provide a wide range of mental health, crisis services, parenting support, family-focused therapy, and residential programming. How you can make an Impact Nurse Family Partnership is an evidence-based, community health program that helps transform the lives of mothers pregnant with their first child. Each mother is partnered with a Registered Nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing home visits that continue through her child's second birthday. The goals of the Nurse-Family Partnership program are to improve pregnancy outcomes, child and health development, and the economic self-sufficiency of families. The program is offered nation wide, is voluntary, and free of charge. At its heart, the program empowers women to change their families lives for the better.
