Description:

PURPOSE : This position is responsible for the proactive management of Agri-Service's wholegoods inventory, both new and used, and sales strategies to ensure exceptional customer support and achieve established key performance metrics. Works and collaborates with AGCO and other vendors to define beneficial working relationships and ensuring that used inventory and sales goals are profitably attained. SAFETY: Report all incidents immediately. Prepare and participate in incident investigations as needed. Ensure work site inspections and vehicle inspections are completely as required. Hold direct reports accountable for adhering to safety policies. Recognize and promote employees demonstrating safe behaviors. Discuss safety and the importance of it at each team meeting/gathering. Demonstrate my commitment to safety with both words and actions. Advocate and exemplify safety and safe working habits using proper safety equipment not limited to hand, face, and eye protection. (PPE) Look out for coworkers, speak up and offer assistance to ensure safe working environment for all. Follows company safety policies and procedures on the jobsite, promotes safe behavior with our customers. Maintains a clean company vehicle, performs required inspections, and completes necessary paperwork. Operate vehicle safely, following all applicable laws and company policies. Safely demonstrates operation of equipment to potential customers. Uses correct tooling, performs tool inspections regularly, follows tools instructions and cleans as needed Performs JHA analysis of location and equipment, looks to eliminate or reduce potential hazards. Identifies potential safety concerns on all makes and types of equipment through walk around inspections and reports them to the supervisor and/or the customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversees all aspects of strategically managing Agri-Service's new and used wholegoods inventory to ensure exceptional customer care and established return on investment. Includes appropriate used inventory trades and accurate resale pricing for overall inventory turns. Establishes used equipment inventory pricing for fairness and maximum profitability, meeting inventory turns goals. Develops and implements sales strategies, manages sales operation, assists in sales negotiations, collaborates on marketing programs while ensuring teamwork and collaboration throughout the dealership. Ensures that used equipment sales inventory is retail ready and is available to meet or exceed customer needs. Works with Agri-Service Service Teams to ensure this happens. Travels to all Agri-Service locations and interacts with all Sales Representatives. Communicates and informs general line inventory management to ensure standard configurations are in alignment with customer's needs while meeting inventory turns goals. Assists the Vice President of Operations to manage annual Sales budget. Updates and revises budget yearly in accordance with company guidelines. Manages expenses. Completes monthly and yearly reporting functions. Partners with other departments to ensure teamwork throughout the dealership. Provides training and guidance as needed and for new processes to Sales Associate and Store Managers. Promotes and manages all customer care standards. Actively cares and a dvocates safety at Agri-Service. Ensures employees, vendors, and customers have a safe work environment. Adheres to and manages all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards. May accomplish training and serve as a team member in support of Agri-Service strategic programs, projects, and initiatives. Works within and promotes corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong knowledge of Microsoft office software. Technical knowledge of sales management systems. Proficient in the use of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems required. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others. Consistent attendance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Five years equivalent experience required. 3 or more years' experience in Sales. Successful completion of AGCO machine operator training required. Knowledge of CAT inspection tool preferred. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English). PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Frequent walking, standing, driving, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, climbing, twisting, and leaning. Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.
