Job Summary: Marucci Sports has an opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our team in Baton Rouge. Your goal is to achieve superior customer engagement, while increasing website traffic and revenue by strategically utilizing all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. It is imperative to have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works, how to create engaging content and how to optimize content. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and combining direct and soft-selling tactics. Responsibilities: Create, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages our following to take desired action Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification to align with business goals Collaborate with Performance Marketing team on strategy and placement of social media ads across platforms Collaborate to create editorial calendars and rollout schedules consistent with other marketing touchpoints Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information Collaborate with sales and sports marketing to identify key players/partners and coordinate actions for brand consistency Remain up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, promotions and competitions Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews Required Skills/Abilities: Experience running social media for a brand or company Portfolio of strongest work - inclusive of paid ad strategy and execution Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge Self-starter, independent, creative, knowledgeable of baseball and MLB Excellent communication skills and ability to creatively express our company's views Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of our major marketing channels Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability Ability to work quickly without loss of work quality and professionalism
