Modoma is a leader in our industry providing medical massage and rehabilitation under the direction of medical oversight. We have 150 employees at our four locations in the great Dallas area. This year we added regenerative knee injections as a new service line and will continue to add new service lines as we keep growing and expanding. Overview: We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is responsible for providing support to our patients and medical providers through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. If you are not interested in helping people, this is NOT the position for you. We are looking for someone who's really passionate about helping people and extremely empathetic. Minimum Requirements: Positive attitude Medical Assistant Certification Other Requirements: At least one year prior medical assistant experience - preferred At least one year prior phlebotomy experience - preferred Experience in a medical clinic - preferred Competencies: Maintaining clinical records/documentation, range of motion testing, blood draws (if a phlebotomist), taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures. Proficient in the use of general office equipment and proficient data entry and typing skills (minimum 40 WPM minimum) with working knowledge of Microsoft applications Show detailed attention to all tasks required for scheduling Show sensitivity and respect to the needs and feelings of internal and external customers Dependable and reliable with meeting goals, deadlines and other performance expectations and demonstrates teamwork Compensation and Benefits: Competitive market-based wage, commensurate with experience and education.
