UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California. POSITION SUMMARY The VP of Clinical Trials will be accountable for the resourcing, development, implementation, training, and management of a successful clinical program. What you will be doing Creates, executes, and proactively manages clinical trial processes with plans to grow an existing clinical Trials program. Provides leadership, strategic oversight, and guidance of Clinical Operations to ensure quality, timeline, resources, and budget goals are met. Establish performance indicators and apply to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials to agreed timelines. Represent all aspects of Clinical Trials Operations and provides updates as required to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and other key internal stakeholders. Lead & mentor Clinical Trials staff to support successful internal training and its implementation. and serve as an advocate for professional development of Clinical Trials staff. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external experts and clinical trials sponsor e.g. Pharma and Device Manufacturers as well as Investigators to ensure effective execution of internal and external clinical trial studies. What you will bring to the team Bachelors in Life Sciences, Nursing Licensure or Pharmacy; an advanced degree (MS, PharmD or MBA) is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience with expertise in the areas of clinical operations development and strategic planning; developing, implementing, and leading early to late-stage clinical trials. Proficiency in relationship building, direct-line team management, and cross-functional team management. Strong working knowledge and experience of FDA and other health authority guidelines regarding the conduct and reporting of clinical trials; experience with preparing materials for health authority review; presentation experience (written or face-to-face) a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross functional team. Experience working with CRIO clinical trial software or other such as clinical conductor.
