Description:

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Baltimore, MD clinical team.As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide technical support in the pharmacy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Conducts sterile and non-sterile compounding, in compliance with protocol specifications and use USP 797 and 795, respectively. Utilizes knowledge of a equipment and technical skills to provide technical support for protocols. Maintains inventory of pharmacy supplies. Prepares the protocol specific pharmacy binder and handles protocol set-up for dispensing by ensuring adequate supplies, logs, labels, and Med Orders are available for the team. Assists with the receipt and storage of investigational and non-investigational products. Performs daily cleanroom maintenance and restoration. Communicates with drug wholesalers for procurement and shipment related matters. Adheres to the Department of Pharmacy's standard operating procedures to assist with the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing accountability, and destruction of the investigational product as determined by the research protocol. Education and Experience: Licensed by Maryland Board of Pharmacy PTCB certification is desired. Experience conducting sterile and non-sterile compounding.
