Flippo Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Small Tool Mechanic to join our team. The Small Tools Mechanic is primarily responsible for conducting repairs to small mechanical tools used for construction. The Small Tool Mechanic will work in Flippo's maintenance shop, located in Forestville, MD. Responsibilities: Conduct maintenance and repair of small engine tools to include generators, chain saws, pipe saws, tamper ram "jumping jack", and pneumatic tools. Conduct calibration of gas testers. Make hoses for pumps. Assist the shop Mechanics with mechanical maintenance and repair of trucks and construction equipment as directed. Maintain all personal and company provided tools in good working condition. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have demonstrated similar small tool repair experience. Ability to climb up and down from equipment. Ability to carry tools, equipment, or materials up to 70 pounds. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and walk. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must have transportation to and from work. Flippo Construction Company, Inc.
