Submarine Educator $18.60 per hour Regular, Part-Time; scheduled for 20 hours per week The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) mission is to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning experiences, foster experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and stimulate informed action. Join our team as a Submarine Educator and be a part of igniting an education transformation at the intersection of science and technology that spreads opportunities across the Northwest! The Submarine Educator educates OMSI guests about the Blueback submarine while simultaneously discussing relevant scientific concepts that are meant to inspire visitor curiosity about naval history and technology. Educators provide visitors a rare glimpse into the experience of living and working on a submarine by providing an overview of submarine history, as well as pointing out major engineering innovations of the Blueback and its role in the evolution of underwater technology.
