Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Hybrid position. 10% in office. Your impact: As Coastal's working Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll have the opportunity to use both your management talent and recruiting experience. You'll oversee and participate in the recruiting process from applicant inquiry to onboarding and lead our efforts in identifying, attracting, and hiring top applicants. You'll also have the opportunity to use your rapport-building and communication talents as you interact with applicants and build strong relationships with management, vendors, and your team. The contributions you can anticipate making: Leading team results and goals by: Overseeing and directing the work of the Talent Acquisition Team in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent Utilizing data, technology, and industry trends to make recommendations and implement creative acquisition and pipeline building ideas to support our acquisition goals Partnering with our management team to play a key role in carrying out Coastal's recruiting vision Incorporating our "best places to work" culture throughout the recruiting process Working in collaboration with Employee Development to ensure our management team has the skills/support needed for effective interviewing, applicant engagement, and onboarding of new employees Evaluating tools and methods, and making recommendations for changes in our recruiting and onboarding efforts Developing and cultivating relationships with various levels of management to ensure optimal customer service and meeting of recruitment business needs Cultivating strong relationships with external recruiting sources and third-party vendors Tracking and analyzing recruitment efforts and results, and making recommendations accordingly Working closely with HR Compensation and Compliance Specialist to ensure all aspects of the recruitment process are in line with OFCCP regulations Recruiting top talent by: Sourcing and hiring the best talent in accordance with our "best place to work" culture Creating a positive first impression and building rapport with our potential job applicants and applicant sources Guiding managers through the recruitment process and assisting them by overseeing resume flow, screening resumes and conducting pre-screen interviews, serving as their ATS "help desk," calculating compensation, coordinating offers, and closing out positions Preparing for and conducting new-hire orientations as well as coordinating benefits elections for all new-hires Developing team by: Identifying each of your team member's talents and helping them do more of their best work Holding meaningful weekly check-ins with each team member to build relationship, trust, and provide the opportunity for coaching, feedback, and recognition Conducting performance pulses and milestone connect meetings regularly Building a culture that embodies Coastal's values Cross-training to ensure optimal coverage Assisting with optimizing staff and processes Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools needed to perform well Successfully recruiting additional Talent Acquisition staff as needed Protecting Coastal by: Ensuring fairness and consistency in hiring practices while remaining compliant with applicable laws and regulations Ensuring staff is capable of providing adequate service at all times Providing support for internal/external auditors Resolving audit and exam findings in a timely fashion Ensuring BCP preparedness of your team To be successful in this role, you will be: A person who derives satisfaction from influencing and motivating others, building rapport, and creating an atmosphere where collaboration as well as individual strengths can thrive An individual who enjoys being the decision maker in demanding situations An achiever who thrives on the opportunity to work independently and lead a team successfully toward goals Someone who derives satisfaction from taking a concern or problem and seeing it through to a resolution An organized person for whom time management and the ability to establish priorities comes naturally Someone who enjoys bringing two things together to meet the needs they both have.
