Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. Enthusiastic Employees...Flawless Performance...Delighted Customers! We seek a Manufacturing Engineer to work with us in Souderton, PA. Craft-Bilt is a 75 year old family-owned manufacturing company. We manufacture and continue to develop new products for the residential and commercial construction markets such as retractable awnings, sunrooms, aluminum and architectural glass railing, and aluminum waterproof decking. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-Training will be provided as necessary This is an on-site position at our business location. Monday thru Friday 7:30 - 4:00 Occasional overtime may be needed. Understands the manufacturing process from beginning to end for all product lines in order to be a resource to other departments within the company as well as a resource to our customers when necessary. Configure work orders in the ERP system. Generates Bill of Materials/work instructions /part numbers. Uses hand and power tools as part of product development and analysis. Travels occasionally to dealers, seminars, conferences, etc. Works as part of a team to meet company goals. Follows company safety policies and procedures. Performs other duties as necessitated by management. REQUIREMENTS Bachelors or Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology preferred but not required or 2 years related experience. Must possess mechanical aptitude and hands-on capability. Proficient in math, reading, and writing. Possesses communication, telephone, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel. Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred Skills Proficiency with CRM software. Experience with Autodesk Suites. Construction experience/knowledge. The performance of this position will require the employee to be exposed to the manufacturing areas where, in certain areas, the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection) is required. For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office/factory environment. When working outdoors/driving, conditions depend on the weather.
