POSITION SUMMARY: Kasselman Solar is seeking a skilled and motivated General Laborer to join our team. This is a full-time position that includes the opportunity for career advancement and paid training to become a certified solar technician. Responsibilities: Trenching Landscaping Excavation, backfill and grading Responsible to bring landscape back to rough grade Working on a roof Load and unload tool, equipment and material on a daily basis from truck and trailers Operating power tools, such as drills, saws, and impact drivers Assisting with the installation of solar panels, racking systems, and other solar equipment Assisting with the wiring and electrical connections of solar equipment Maintaining a clean and safe work area by following safety protocols Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be comfortable with heights and working on a roof Must have a valid driver's license Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50 pounds OSHA 10 required before starting date Qualifications: Positive attitude Must be a team player Must be able to meet physical demand of the job Basic construction experience preferred but not required Benefits: Competitive salary Paid sick and Vacation Time (PTO) Career advancement opportunities Paid training to become a certified solar technician (training support including on-the-job and virtual/online-based courses) Working with a team that is motivated to keep you busy Health, dental, and vision insurance Term Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account (HSA), Medical Flexible Spending Account (MFSA) Retirement savings plan 401(k) Parental leave Employee Assistant Program (EAP) Pay: The hourly rate for this position starts from $18/per hour Kasselman Solar is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
