The Children's Center of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island located in Commack, NY is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (22.5 hours per week M-W-F 8:30-4:30 preferred). Experience working with the pediatric population is a plus, however,new grads will be considered. Must work well with other clinicians, teachers, parents and physicians. Excellent communication skills necessary. Applicants should be creative, flexible and willing to learn and grow. Responsibilities Include: -Provide developmental and educationally based intervention to improve safety and independence-Data input into secure, computerized systems for reports and billing-Attend weekly scheduled team meetings with Educational Staff and other clinicians-Attend Parent Team meetings and on occasion attend School District meetings via phone NYS License in Occupational Therapy required
