Administrative Assistant- Asset Management & Compliance

Description:

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Asset Management and will be responsible for assisting with various functions related to the management of a large portfolio of affordable housing assets. This full-time position will provide administrative support to the Asset Management and Compliance departments with the following essential functions. RES PO NSIBI L I T IES Address inquiries (telephone, mail, email, etc.) when able or direct to the appropriate individuals. Prepare and maintain ad hoc and recurring analytical reports. Assist with populating and updating Smartsheets and trackers for both asset management and compliance. Reviewing the partnership documents such as partnership agreements, regulatory agreements, and mortgage loan documents as well as various cross departmental agreements. Assist with obtaining lender/investor consents. Assist with preparing correspondence, reports and other materials for meetings and presentations. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for our external partners, complete partner specific reports and keep partner contact information updated. Assist with welfare exemptions. Research and prepare rental market trends and operational analysis reporting. Respond to internal and external requests for financial reports. Conduct periodic site visits of CORE properties and potential sites. Assist both departments with correspondence and administrative duties that includes scheduling, travel arrangements and setting up training courses/events. Reconcile expense, mileage and credit card reports for the departments. Assist with third party managed properties and reporting. Complete special projects as needed and other duties as assigned. Participate in professional training offered to all employees, if applicable. Attend Company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which from time to time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment. Possess a high-level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform effectively under tight deadlines. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Operate computer and office equipment.
