We are looking for fun and creative Fine Arts Seasonal Camp Counselors! Your enthusiastic personality will shine in this fun summer role! YMCA Fine Arts Camp Counselors create positive, nurturing relationships with the children while building cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers. You will work alongside our Youth & Family Program team to supervise a group of children at a YMCA seasonal day camp, promoting and supporting the potential of all our young participants. Job Status: Full-time, Seasonal Hours: 40 per week Benefits : Free YMCA Membership Participation in 403(B) Plan Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. Experience working or participating in fine arts preferred. Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions 1 -year experience working with children; in a day camp setting preferred. At least 18 years of age Required: fingerprinting, medical clearance and immunizations CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date. Must receive ODJFS (Ohio Department of Job and Family Services) licensing certification within 30 days of hire.
