Jefferson Health is our Academic Clinical Research Center partner for our vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania. Position Summary/Objective Supports the companies' applications systems; analyzes, modifies, enhances, or adjusts existing applications systems; and integrates features or improvements with existing and future systems to improve business efficiency and productivity. Oversees the implementation of required hardware and software installations and upgrades for approved applications systems. Coordinates testing of the applications systems to ensure proper performance; oversees a team that troubleshoots software and hardware issues, conducts testing on systems, and documents the results. Responsibilities Analyze application design, implement them and build activities Ensure stability, integration and integrity of production systems Monitor vendor sites on regular basis and stay updated with new trends in the industry by attending conferences and meetings with vendors Coordinate with operational support personnel and system administrator for application upgrades and patches Coordinate and provide assistance for interface maintenance and support Develop project schedule for assigned project and revise the responsibilities associated with project management Lead team to direct and guide for designing and implementing of applications Record and facilitate future state design activities as well as current state assessments in order to support assigned projects Stay regularly in loop with the department managers, directors, end-users, system managers regarding projects, application issues and provide resolutions to troubleshooting issues Develop end user training schedule and execute it, support learning systems group in designing Create technical support documentation and keep it updated Identify issues in tracking system and evaluate them Develop scripts as well as test plans and maintain them Mentor and provide guidance to other system analysis with difficult and more complex assignments Coordinate with hardware and software upgrades and execute them Assist with the maintenance, installation, upgrades and testing of software for the users Formulate objectives along with the system scope to modify or develop complex designs of the system Troubleshoot and assist with various web and enterprise applications and resolve various server and application issues Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or technical discipline is preferred Work Experience: Experience with supporting and installing MS operating systems at a proficient level Proficiency and good knowledge of wide range of software programs including Microsoft Office Ability to support enterprise applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (ERP), SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Service cloud, and SalesCloud including applications such as expense management, time keeping and work flow systems Good knowledge of imaging, automated installation, scripting along with resolving problems Knowledge of using software deployment systems to install applications and packages Experience of administering, maintaining, and supporting application server platforms, Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure SQL, Logic Apps, and Data Factory Experience and knowledge of various technologies such as C#, JAVA, Python, and other programming and scripting platforms Capabilities and Skills : Solid team and interpersonal skills Must be self-directed and adaptable Strong communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to a diverse audience High level of integrity and a strong work ethic Growth mindset Willingness to troubleshoot technology issues Proficiency in computer hardware and software usage including retail point-of-sale software, all MS Office applications, email, scheduling software, online conferencing, and more Strong problem-solving skills including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environment Technology certifications a plus Other Requirements Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds for a distance of 50 feet Must pass stringent background test requirements of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Maryland Periodic travel to various retail and grower/processor sites in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Maryland Compensation This position is classified as Exempt and is not entitled to overtime pay.
