This position requires SOLID Linux experience. We are seeking an individual with solid PC hardware skills (hard drives, raid units, etc.) and reliable Linux networking experience to help with system administration, including updating Internet servers, acting as on-call systems help on a rotating basis, conducting proactive system maintenance and working with on-site developers as a team to accomplish company goals and customer needs. If you have a high school degree (college preferred) and 2 years of related systems administrator experience, this could be the job for you. We are seeking level-headed and confident individuals with a team attitude and great problem solving skills who have the ability to work both behind the scenes and with the end user. You must have HEAVY Linux experience (including tcpdump, ip route, ifconfig, traceroute and ping) along with Linux IP routing and networking experience. Solid PHP and BASH scripting is also needed. The ideal candidate has competent PC hardware experience (hard drives, raid units, etc.) and exposure to Nginx/Apache webservers. Additional experience with the following is helpful: OpenVPN, OpenLDAP, qMail/Postfix/Exim,vpopmail, cPanel/WHM, WHMCS or mdadm.
